Inspired by the challenges faced by newly diagnosed celiac patients, Arya set out to reduce the fear and uncertainty that comes with every meal. Through InnovateX, she learned Python, artificial intelligence (machine learning and deep learning), AI coding assistants, research methodologies, and an entrepreneurship framework inspired by MIT’s Disciplined Entrepreneurship to transform her idea into Celiac AI, an AI-powered application that scans ingredients, tracks food and symptoms, and delivers personalized health insights. By combining technical skills, research, and entrepreneurial thinking, Arya built a working prototype with the potential to make a meaningful impact on the lives of millions living with celiac disease.
